CALL FOR PAPERS
The conference on Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems (DCIS) is an international meeting for researchers in the highly active fields of micro- and nano-electronic circuits and integrated systems. It provides an excellent forum to present and discuss works on the emerging challenges offered by technology, in the areas of modeling, design, implementation and test of devices, circuits and systems.
DCIS 2025 topics of interest include:
- Analog / mixed signal circuits and systems
- Design of power-, thermal- and variability-aware circuits and systems
- New computing and hardware paradigms (machine learning, AIacceleration, approximate and stochastic computing, bio-inspiredcomputing, …)
- Circuits and systems in advanced and emerging technologies (SiC,GaN, silicon photonics, 3DICs, quantum devices, …)
- Reconfigurable devices and systems (FPGA, NVRAM, memristors, …)
- Embedded and high-performance computing.
- RISC-V-based systems (hardware, architectures, software, …)
- EDA tools and methods
- Industrial and power electronics
- Sustainable computing and systems
- Sensory circuits and systems
- Energy management and harvesting
- Test, fault tolerance, reliability and modeling
- Radiofrequency ICs (6G, RFID, NFC, …)
- On-Chip and off-chip interconnects
- IoT and applications (industry 4.0, personalized healthcare, …)
- Hardware security
- Educational Methods on Electronics
We encourage submission of manuscripts (IEEE single-spaced, double-column, A4 page, 6 pages maximum) employing the IEEEmanuscript templates for conference proceedings through the online paper submission system at the conference website.
“Best papers on Embedded HW” will be invited to submit an extended version of the conference paper to the Journal on Microprocessors and Microsystems: Embedded Hardware Design (MICPRO)”.
Important Dates
Deadline for submission: May 4th, 2025 June 8th, 2025
Notification of acceptance: July 20th, 2025
Deadline for final paper submission: September 7th, 2025
Registration open: July 20th,2025

Call for PhD Competition
In its continuous intention of improving the discussion possibilities among junior and senior researchers, this year the 6th edition of the PhD Poster Competition is scheduled. Apart from Poster displaying during all the conference, PhD Students could explain briefly their research advances and discuss with the conference attendees session during coffee breaks. Students will benefit from reduced registration fees. The participant achieving the highest score in both the poster presentation and the subsequent discussion will be honored with an award and will have the opportunity to showcase his/her work during the closing session of the conference.
All topics related with the conference’s scope are welcome. Research projects should be original, not previously published in conferences or journals, and will be included in the PhD Forum proceedings.
PhD Students are encouraged to submit a 1-page PDF file in Pentachart format by June 15th 2025. Submissions must be sent using the Easychair link (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dcis2025) and selecting «PhD competition» as topic.
Accepted works will be required to submit an abstract (IEEE single-spaced, double column, A4 page, 2 pages maximum) using the Easychair submission link by September 10th 15th, to be published in the PhD Forum Proceedings.
