CALL FOR SPACIAL SESSIONS

Download PDF version

The Design of Circuits and Integrated Systems (DCIS) technical program will include Special Sessions. Their objective is to complement the regular program with relevant topics that are of particular interest to our audience and that may also cut across and beyond disciplines traditionally represented at DCIS.

DCIS 2025 Special sessions
Each Special Session will comprise at least three presentations of about 20 minutes each.
Prospective organizers of Special Sessions should submit proposals with the following information:

  • Title of the session
  • Rationale of the interest for the Special Session to DCIS; the rationale should stress the interest of the topic and/or its multidisciplinary features (if any)
  • Short biography of the organizers
  • List of at least three potential contributions from different authors (including titles, authors and a short abstract).

Proposals should be sent via e-mail to the Special Session Chair (francesc.moll@upc.edu) by May 11th, 2025.
The acceptance of each Special Session will be decided and notified by the Program Committee upon reception, and published in the conference web page.
After approval of Special Session proposals, manuscripts may be submitted to the special sessions using the same Easychair link and should conform to the formatting and electronic submission guidelines of regular DCIS papers. Papers will undergo the same review process as regular papers under their specific track (select «Special Session» as topic at submission time).
It is the responsibility of the organizers to ensure that their Special Session papers meet DCIS quality standards. If, at the end of the review process, fewer than three papers are accepted, the session will be cancelled and the accepted papers will be moved to regular sessions.

Call for PhD Competition

In its continuous intention of improving the discussion possibilities among junior and senior researchers, this year the 6th edition of the PhD Poster Competition is scheduled. Apart from Poster displaying during all the conference, PhD Students could explain briefly their research advances and discuss with the conference attendees session during coffee breaks. Students will benefit from reduced registration fees. The participant achieving the highest score in both the poster presentation and the subsequent discussion will be honored with an award and will have the opportunity to showcase his/her work during the closing session of the conference.
All topics related with the conference’s scope are welcome. Research projects should be original, not previously published in conferences or journals, and will be included in the PhD Forum proceedings.
PhD Students are encouraged to submit a 1-page PDF file in Pentachart format by June 15th 2025. Submissions must be sent using the Easychair link (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dcis2025) and selecting «PhD competition» as topic.
